As we were not able to have a trip around Kelantan and Terengganu, my dad took us to Cameron Highland instead because it was nearby Parit, Perak. Here's why our plans were changed.
My mum booked a hotel called Titiwangsa. It's located at Brinchang, just a few minutes walk to the famous night market.
model tak diiktiraf. =P
The family room is equipped with 2 king size beds. The bathroom and toilet is separated as well. So it's convenient for families that have a good bowel movement...if you know what I mean. lolz
The room is fairly big. Comfy enough for a night stay.
The room is just RM288, Consists of breakfast and steamboat dinner!!!
There were so many choices for the steamboat. You will be full, I'm telling you.
We finished everything that was given, Alhamdulillah.
Except for the eggs because we ate that last, and all of us were full enough.
Dinner stopped being served at 10pm. Were finished just in the nick of time.
The next morning, we went for breakfast at 8am. It stops at 9.30am, so you should get down early or the food will be finish.
After breakfast, we went for a walk towards the market hoping to find some fresh produce to buy.
Zafirah and her poses.
Cameron is one of the best place to buy fresh veggies, fruits and flowers because of the cold climate.
After that, we checked out before going anywhere else.
The view of the hotel lobby.
Then we went to KHM farm for some good 'ol scones and tea!! I went here with my mum a couple of times before. It's located at Kg. Taman Sedia.
tadaaa...
Look at that. woooaaahhh...
Other than scones and tea, they also serve homemade strawberry ice cream...
fresh strawberries and chocolate dip..nyum3
These little munchkins just love the strawberries!!
Just look at those faces. =3
After some filling in our bellies, we went for strawberry picking.
Look at these gigantic cabbages!
It's Zafirah's first time...huhu...she was so excited!
Look at these two strawberry shortcakes. They look so yummy.
There are a lot of places for strawberry picking around this area.
There's Opah's
There's Abang..haha
After satisfied with our picks, we went to the BOH Tea Farm.
The road towards this place is very narrow. So be careful if you're driving. If you are a group with a bus, they have their own shuttle bus to take you uphill because they don't allow tour buses to go up there. The drive will be too dangerous.
It's quite a hike to go up there. Poor my mum and aunt and all those other elderly.
Rest point. huhu..Actually, you can drive your car up to the entrance to drop those who aren't able to hike up. But when we arrive, they blocked the road.
My dad had to carry Zafirah coz she was sleeping.
Accomplished face.
The reason to come here was for this...
The mushroom soup. It was told to be so good, but you know me. haha...I've tasted better. But still pretty good for a processed cream of mushroom soup.
Irdina agreed!! huhu..
Don't forget to snap some awesome shots of the breathtaking view.
and of course some awesome choices of tea.
You can also go for a free guided factory tour to know more how the tea is being processed.
It was a great trip because I went with my family, even though I have been here several times before. #Vacay b4 fly.
